Live Aboard on the USS Lexington

Corpus Christi, TX

Every other year in the Fall, our pack schedules an overnight campout on the USS Lexington, a retired World War II Essex-Class Aircraft Carrier.  Scouts and their families get the opportunity to be immersed in an incredible part of history and learn what it was like to live aboard an aircraft carrier.  Our pack’s next visit to the USS Lexington will be in the fall of 2012.
