Who Are We?

Chartered through Kuehnle Elementary in the Klein Independent School District, Pack 1655 is open to boys in 1st-5th grade (7-11 years old).  Currently, we have 53 scouts.

Traditionally, we meet the 3rd Thursday of each month from Sept - May in the Kuehnle Cafeteria @ 7 pm.

Pack 1655 is in the Polaris District, which is part of the Sam Houston Area Council.  We invite all interested boys and families to come check us out!

What's New!

March Pack Meeting "Materials Magic" - Thur, Mar 18th, at Kuehnle Cafeteria @ 7 pm.  Two scientists from Rice University’s materials science department will present a “Materials Magic” show for the boys.

Tent Day - Sun, Mar 29 @ 3-5pm.  Learn how to setup a new tent, get reaquainted with old tents, and sit through a Camping 101 class in preperation for the spring campout 

Spring Campout at Huntsville State Park - Sat, Apr 3-5th.  We have 96 slots reserved for Saturday night.  Also, if you would like to campout on Friday night too we have 40 slots reserved.  All campsites will have water and electrical.

Have 75% attendance at Pack Meetings (Scouts and Leaders)
Have 50% attendance at camp outs – Accomplished for fall
Recruit 10 new scouts at Rally Night - Completed
Retain 50% of scouts from 2007 - Completed
Have 75% of scouts earn their rank
100% Leaders trained in position
Develop Pack Operating Guide - Completed
Obtain Centennial Quality Unit Award
